Pica's Gone!

My SuperDog exploits has come to a full stop when my mumsy Pica was put to sleep last March 3 in Heaven. She developed tumors in her mouth which we thought was just an ordinary swelling. We never knew that the funny bump on her jaw can make life difficult for all of us. My heroic efforts went pfft. I felt helpless and useless. Of what use is a SuperDog if I can not save my own mumsy?

Now, no one can ever wear her crown as the Queen in Heaven and in our hearts. Even if I try to charm my way and wear her crown, I can never take her place. Life in Heaven will never be the same without my mumsy.

But I'm a brave hound. Mumsy said so. Keeper would always tell me so. Bogart, even with his dopey face, would grudgingly nod his head and tell me so too. So I will be brave and I will make my mumsy proud of me.

For now, I will cry and demand hugs and kisses from Keeper and Bogart. Sumo is not well and is having medication. He is totally heartbroken. I don't think I will demand anything from him. For now. . .

Goodbye, Mumsy Pica. Fly free and prepare our place over the rainbow bridge. We will meet there again and we will be together again. . .

In loving memory:
Pica: January 1991 to March 2008

Sweepy, we know you are sad.We are sad with you. Pica feels so much better now. Don't run off to the Rainbow Bridge any time soon. We need for you to stay here with us. We are selfish and don't want to lose you, too.

Hi Sweepy
Please take good care of yourself and Bogart and Sumo. We really hope Sumo picks up very soon. Grief is very, very hard but you have each other to care for and Pica would not want any of you to get sick.
We hope somehow you will have a VERY HAPPY BARKDAY TODAY !!! Pica would like to see you enjoying your Barkday coz she gave birth to you, and she will be with you in spirit. Pica will never leave any of you.
Love from Hammer
